Montana Wants Comments On Proposed Yellowstone River Rule Changes

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking public comment on two proposed Yellowstone River fishing regulation changes that would take effect next year.
One proposal is to eliminate the special regulations in the Emigrant Bridge to Pine Creek Bridge section of the Yellowstone River, thus resulting in consistent trout regulations from Yellowstone Park to the I-90 bridge at Billings. The new combined trout limit would be four brown or rainbow trout daily and in possession, with only one more than 18 inches long.

Arizona this month activated its first-ever electric "wildlife crosswalk" aimed at reducing wildlife collisions that pose a risk to drivers and cost millions in property damage each year. Population growth and the ever-expanding network of highways in Arizona have led to increasing wildlife-vehicle encounters on some of the state's most traveled routes.
