PLATTSBURGH, NEW YORK - The Walmart FLW Tour presented by Folgers will stop in Plattsburgh, New York, July 9-12 for the final regular-season tournament of the 2009 season on Lake Champlain that will feature anglers from across the United States, Mexico and Japan fishing for top awards of $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.

OSWEGO - Lake Ontario's top professional and amateur anglers will be vying for thousands of dollars in cash and merchandise prizes the weekend of July 11 and 12, when Oswego County's 15th annual Pro-Am Salmon and Trout Team Tournament takes place out of the ports of Oswego, Mexico, and Port Ontario. The tournament is the third in a four-county series on Lake Ontario.

Lawrenceburg, Indiana - Ladd Kitchel of Flora, Ind.., won the Walmart Bass Fishing League® Hoosier Division tournament on Tanners Creek Saturday with a five-bass catch weighing 10 pounds, 1 ounce. The victory earned Kitchel $3,592 and placed him one step closer to qualifying for the Kentucky/Barkley Lake Regional Championship in Gilbertsville, Ky., Oct. 15-17, where he could ultimately win a new Ranger boat and a Chevy truck.

SALISBURY, North Carolina - Spence Brunson of Salisbury, North Carolina, won the Walmart Bass Fishing League® North Carolina Division tournament on High Rock Lake Saturday with a five-bass catch weighing 22 pounds, 1 ounce. The victory earned Brunson $4,428 and placed him one step closer to qualifying for the Clarks Hill Lake Regional Championship in Appling, Ga., Oct. 15-17, where he could ultimately win a new Ranger boat and a Chevy truck.

NORMAL, Illinois - Professional bass fisherman Chad Morgenthaler of Coulterville, Illinois, is hooked on Special Olympics. He is teaming up with Special Olympics Illinois and the Law Enforcement Torch Run to host the 4th Annual Chad Morgenthaler Bass Tournament presented by Jasper Engines & Transmissions on Augusty 29 at Rend Lake in southern Illinois.

PITTSBURGH - The Bass Federation has announced that its 2009 National Guard Junior World Championship will be held on The Allegheny River in Kittanning, Pennsylvania., July 31 - Augist 1, in conjunction with the $2 million Forrest Wood Cup - the world championship of bass fishing - presented by BP and Castrol. Daily weigh-ins will be held at Kittanning Riverfront Park, and will be streamed live to fans around the world watching "FLW Live" on FLWOutdoors.com. All junior anglers will walk across the main stage to be recognized during the Saturday weigh-in of the Forrest Wood Cup in Mellon Arena.
