In addition, signs in Minnesota at the Twin Cities International Airport, show what the invasive fugitives can look like and how to stop them before they stow-away on boats and trailers and spread to other waters. Television ads during favorite Saturday morning fishing shows are showing sportsmen how to take action against invasive species. Wanted posters in local papers are instructing residents: Wanted Dead, Not Alive.

Tuesday's ceremony centered on major improvements to the State Game Lodge.
Oahe Downstream to Host 3rd Annual Kids' Fishing Derby

Kids are encouraged to register prior to the event at the Welcome Center at Oahe Downstream Recreation Area. Registration will close at 9:30 a.m. on June 6. Fishing will run from 10 a.m. to noon with prizes immediately following. Prizes will be awarded for the largest, smallest and most interesting catches of the morning.

That means you have the opportunity to fish public waters, excluding tribal trust land, from 12:01 a.m. on Friday through midnight on Sunday without having to have a fishing license. One important thing to remember, even though you may fish without a license all other rules must be followed.
