Vermont "Let's Go Fishing" program hosts training session

This year's workshop will be at the Edward F. Kehoe Conservation Camp in Castleton. The day's events begin with coffee and registration at 8:30 a.m.
Three Arrested for Big Game Violations

The three have been cited to appear in Caledonia District Court for arraignment on March 8, 2010 for the following violations: Larry Cheeseman and his wife, Maria Cheeseman, of Lyndonville for selling the use of dogs to take black bear; and Vincent Cartularo of Lyndonville for selling the use of dogs to take black bear and the illegal sale of deer.

Lake St. Catherine Fishing Access Closed For Repairs
Submitted by admin on Mon, 2009-07-27 09:50. Vermont Fishing NewsWATERBURY, VT - The Fish & Wildlife Department's Lake St. Catherine Access Area will be closed for repairs to the boat ramp starting August third.
The access currently has a large propeller wash hole that drops off approximately two feet at the end of the ramp and has begun to undercut the concrete ramp. The propeller wash hole will be removed and ramp will be extended to avoid similar problems in the future. If there are no delays with de-watering the construction area around the ramp, the access may be open by mid-August.
