 <description>&lt;p&gt;GROVE, Okla. - Spc. Jim Schatz of Midwest City, Okla., won the National Guard FLW Soldier Appreciation Tournament held on Grand Lake Friday, Sept. 30. Fishing with Walmart FLW BFL boater Lloyd Davenport of Stillwater, Okla., the tandem caught three bass for a total of 8 pounds, 10 ounces to take the title and bragging rights amongst his peers.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Wisconsin and Iowa HS Fishing Championships August 27</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;PONCA CITY, Oklahoma - The Bass Federation (TBF), in partnership with FLW Outdoors, announced it will be hosting the inaugural Student Angler Federation Wisconsin and Iowa High School Fishing State Championship Saturday, August 27 at St. Feriole Island Marina Boat Launch, in Prarie du Chien, Wisconsin. The state championship is a two person team event for students in grades 9-12. Registration for high school anglers and their &quot;coach,&quot; who will provide the boat they compete in, is open online at HighSchoolFishing.org or by calling 580.765.9031. Check-in begins at 5pm on Friday, August 26 at the Cabelas in Prarie du Chien, Wisc. A mandatory rules briefing will follow at 7pm. We highly encourage all teams to pre-register online or by phone well in advance.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;At the Sunday conclusion of the Diamond Drive in Little Rock, Ark., Evers officially moved from fourth into second place in the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year points race. He&#039;s now 55 points behind the leader, and it&#039;s a new leader: Kevin VanDam, who has positioned himself to close on his fourth consecutive title.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>Oklahoma Wins College Fishing Texas Division Event </title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;DENISON, Texas - The University of Oklahoma team of Paul Muzljakovic, Wagoner, and Tyler Nipper, Norman, won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Texas Division event on Lake Texoma Saturday with four bass weighing 10 pounds, 13 ounces. The victory earned the team $10,000 to be split between the university and the university&#039;s bass fishing club - $7,500 for the bass club and $2,500 for their school. The win also secured them a position in the Texas Division Regional Championship.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Aaron Stone of Pawhuska was snagging around 11 a.m. April 10 in the Arkansas River when he hooked the large fish, which he finally reeled in after 40-minutes of reeling and what he said was a 15-foot slide down an embankment. The &quot;spoonbill&quot; measured 55 inches in length, 41.75 inches in girth and weighed 125-lb., 7 oz.&lt;/p&gt;
