The 60-foot trailer of fun and activities brings fishing education to all skill levels of anglers. The scheduled stop for the Berkley Experience Trailer is May 14th and is set to end May 16th.
Sonoma State Wins Western Division College Fishing Event

Fishing Tournaments | Nevada Fishing NewsHENDERSON, Nevada - The Sonoma State team of Luke Haley, and Alex Christianson, won the National Guard FLW College Fishing Western Division on Lake Mead Saturday with six bass weighing 11 pound, 11 ounces. The victory earned the team $10,000 to be split evenly between the university and the university's bass-fishing club. The win also helped them advance to the Western Division Regional Championship where they could ultimately win a Ranger 177TR with a 90-horsepower engine wrapped in school colors for their school's bass club and $25,000 for the school they represent.
FLW Series to Visit Lake Mead

Hosted by the City of Henderson Department of Cultural Arts and Tourism, the tournament will feature as many as 300 top bass anglers casting for top awards of up to $56,000 in the Pro Division and a Ranger 177TR with a 90 horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard in the Co-angler Division.

The clinic is designed for beginning and intermediate fly fishers and is free to all participants. The class is limited to the first 20 who sign-up. If you want to lean the most entertaining forms of fly-fishing try fly fishing for carp. Some say it's the bone fish of the desert. Pound for pound this fish will out-fight nearly all fish in the fresh water world.
ONION VALLEY RESERVOIR TO GET STOCKED TROUT

Nevada Fishing NewsOnion Valley Reservoir, a popular Humboldt County, Nevada fishery, will be stocked with trout later this month, for the first time since 2006. "That is really good news for anglers who like traveling to this remote reservoir for the trout fishing," says Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) fisheries biologist Jim French. "As soon as the roads into this remote area are dry and passable by a fish hatchery truck, we will be stocking 4,000 rainbow trout." Onion Valley Reservoir opens to angling this year on June 13.

The class will start with a basic fly and progress to a more advanced fly by the third class. The class is designed for beginning to intermediate level fly tiers and is free to all participants. Class is limited to the first 15 persons who enroll.
