Springfield, Missouri- Labor Day Weekend typically signals the last hurrah of summer as families finish vacations and kids get ready to head back to school. To protect the public and limit further damage to homes and private property along the Missouri River, Governor Dennis Daugaard has declared a 15 mile portion of the lower reach of the Missouri River in South Dakota, beginning at the confluence of Big Sioux River (River Mile Marker 734) then upstream to the Rosenbaum Boat Landing (River Mile Marker 749) as a No Wake Zone, effective at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2011.

STOCKTON, Mo. - The Walmart Bass Fishing League is headed to Stockton Lake April 30 for the third of five stops in the Ozark Division. As many as 400 boaters and co-anglers will be competing for top awards of up to $9,500 and $3,000, respectively.

BRANSON, Mo. - The Walmart FLW Tour on Table Rock Lake presented by AMP Energy visits Branson, Mo., May 5-8 for the fifth stop of the season. Hosted by Branson/Lakes Area Convention & Visitors Bureau, the tournament will feature as many as 300 top bass anglers casting for top awards up to $125,000 cash in the Pro Division and up to $25,000 cash in the Co-angler Division.

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (March 12, 2011) - David Ryan of Levasy, Missouri, weighed a five-bass limit totaling 17 pounds, 10 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Central Division event on Lake of the Ozarks with a three-day total of 15 bass weighing 52 pounds, 7 ounces. For his victory, Ryan earned $32,917.

OSAGE BEACH, MISSOURI - The EverStart Series is headed to Lake of the Ozarks March 10-12 for the first of four stops in the Central Division. The tournament will feature as many as 300 pros and co-anglers competing for top awards up to $35,000 plus a Ranger boat with an Evinrude or Mercury outboard for the pro and a Ranger boat with an Evinrude or Mercury outboard plus $5,000 for the co-angler.

WHAT: Boater David Burks of Fordland, Missouri, caught a five-bass limit weighing 16 pounds, 5 ounces Feb. 19 to win $3,842 in the BFL Ozark Division tournament on Table Rock Lake. He was fishing near Indian Point in 80 feet of water using grubs and jerkbaits to haul in his limit.
