Joe Thomas, author and host on "Ultimate Match Fishing" and "Reel in the Outdoors" on the Outdoor Channel; Bernie Schultz, eight-time Bassmaster Classic qualifer and Paducah native and three-time Bassmaster champion, Mark Menendez, will each teach a class on the basics of bass fishing, plus share some of their best tips for catching the most fish.

(June 19, 2011) - Goodwill pro and father of two Chad Grigsby of Maple Grove, Minn., caught a five-bass limit weighing 22 pounds, 13 ounces Sunday to earn a Father's Day win and $125,000 at the Walmart FLW Tour on Kentucky Lake presented by Kellogg's with a four-day catch of 20 bass weighing 73-3.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 14, 2011) - The National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) applauded Tuesday's release of the U.S. Coast Guard's 2010 Recreational Boating Statistics, which illustrate record achievements by the states and federal government in educating boaters and preventing tragic loss of life in recreational boating.

This past Saturday April 23rd Crappie USA held a qualifying event at the Roland Cooper State Park on Millers Ferry Lake. These anglers were competing for not only cash and prizes, but a chance to advance to the prestigious Cabela's Crappie USA Classic. This year's classic will be held October 12-15, 2011 on the Kentucky/Barkley Lakes at Paris, Tennessee.

WHAT: Boater Joel Trovillion of Grantsburg, Ill., caught a five-bass limit weighing 18 pounds, 3 ounces, April 16 to win $5,426 in the BFL LBL Division tournament on Kentucky/Barkley lakes. He was using crankbaits to haul in his catch.

WHAT: Boater Doyle Epperson of Nancy, Ky., caught a five-bass limit weighing 19 pounds, 4 ounces, April 16 to win $4,046 in the BFL Mountain Division tournament on Lake Cumberland. He was fishing with swimbaits on the main lake to haul in is catch.

GILBERTSVILLE, KY- Jeremy Ethridge of Nashville, Tennessee, weighed three bass totaling 9 pounds, 14 ounces Saturday to win the EverStart Series Central Division event presented by Mercury on Kentucky/Barkley lakes with a three-day total of 13 bass weighing 60 pounds, 15 ounces. For his victory, Ethridge earned $32,913.
