Instructor Overview

Oregon Hunter Education Instructors are volunteers from across the state who have been specifically trained to deliver hunter education courses. Each volunteer is require to complete an initial application, which includes a short written test, pass a background test, participate in a four phase training process.

These programs are funded by the Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act (Pittman-Robertson) and the Federal Aid in Sport Fish Restoration Act (Wallop-Breaux).
