BILLINGS — Vandals spray painted signs and buildings at Lake Elmo State Park in Billings Heights Tuesday night and Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is offering a reward for information about the graffiti.

A monetary reward is being offered under the department’s 1-800-TIP-MONT program for information leading to arrest of the responsible people.

Anyone with information about the vandalism may call 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668) to speak to a warden and qualify for a reward.

1-800-TIP-MONT is a toll-free number where people can report violations of fish, wildlife or park regulations. Callers may remain anonymous. It is similar to the well-known Crimestoppers program and offers rewards for information resulting in apprehension of persons who abuse Montana’s natural, historic or cultural resources.
