JEREMY STARKS REELS IN FIRST BASS WIN IN SHADES FROM WILEY X

Jeremy Starks posted his first BASS win at the recent Bassmaster Elite Series Event at Alabama's Wheeler Lake, plucking the victory from all-time BASS career earnings leader Kevin Van Dam. Winning by just eight ounces, Starks credited his victory to his decision to protect his secret spot on the Decatur Flats, saving its bounty for the final day. He also credited the protection and glare-cutting performance of his Wiley X® Climate Control Series™ sunglasses.
With one Top 10 finish during his first year of competition, Starks entered the 2008 season ranked 114th in the world. In addition to banking $100,000, Starks' recent victory moved him into 70th place in the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year standings.
