Tim's Ford Fish Report - Feb. 15, 2008

Tennessee

by Rick McFerrin

I had a great day on Tim's today with Mr. Don Schleicher and Mr. Chuck Zimmerman. Many of you know Don from being one of the premier Stripper guides in the south. We were on fish from the get go and caught fish at every stop except for 2. The Smallmouth and Largemouth would unload on either a Rapala DT 10 Parrott or or DT 6 Parrott colored crank bait. www.rapala.com Because of their design the DT Series baits reach there depth potential quicker that any other crank bait that I have ever used. When you combine that with a side by side action that emits a sound that can only be achieved by a balsa wood bait it becomes extremely effective. I throw these on 6lb P-Line www.pline.com and on a 7' Med All Pro APX series rod www.allprorods.com . What a combination ! Hope this helps you on your next trip. One person in the boat today that will remain nameless also lost 3 BIG fish today…..My My MY! Rick McFerrin www.tennesseebassguides.com
